MARCH SUMMARY 2026
It’s been March Movie Madness!
Had 2 pleasant surprises seeing I Swear and Sirat this month. Both films exceeded my expectations.
My Cinema Viewings:
The Bride!: Meh. It was ok. I don’t wanna put it down but it’s hard to find good things to say about it.

Sirat: Best foreign film I have seen in 2026. Most shocking film I have seen in a long time.

How To Make A Killing: Run of the mill film, would be a good movie night on streaming.

Project Hail Mary: Burnt out when I saw this which I thought affected my experience of the film, so put off reviewing it until a 2nd watch.

I Swear: Easily the best film I have seen in 2026.

Ready Or Not 2: Here I Come: An enjoyable rehash popcorn movie sequel.

Project Hail Mary: Rewatch. Same rating after rewatch. Great movie but didn’t quite meet my expectations.

Funny how things turn out sometimes. I love it when my expectations are turned on their head. Biggest surprises for me were I Swear and Sirat being so good while Project Hail Mary and Ready Or Not 2 letting me down some. I was always worried The Bride! might be terrible, turned out it was worse than I thought.
Other March release films I’d still like to see:

• Cold Storage
• They Will Kill You
The other 10 films released in March I was not interested in. I have been told Tenor: My Name Is Pati was a good watch though so will keep an eye out for that on streaming.
